This is how the tests work: ChatGPT's secret feature for learning through play.

ChatGPT has become an important part of my daily life and a place to go for answers to many questions. Over time, this smart assistant gives you even more reasons to ask it about anything. To see everything that ChatGPT has to offer, just tap the "+" button below or next to "Ask anything." Today, we'll talk about one of these things: "Quizzes," also known as "ChatGPT Quizzes." It's pretty clear what they do from their name.

At first, the only things you could do with ChatGPT were ask a question or make a request. But as this smart assistant got better, its makers added more options so ChatGPT could figure out what to do. For example, you can upload a file or image for the AI to process by clicking the "+" button in ChatGPT. You can also ask it to create images for you, search the internet, or conduct advanced research...

The list of options offered by ChatGPT continues to grow. Furthermore, it allows you to integrate external applications into that list. This applies to applications such as Photoshop, Canva, Airtable, Shazam, Apple Music, Malwarebytes, and many more. But today we'll focus on a feature in ChatGPT that hasn't received enough attention and which will be extremely useful if you want to study, learn independently, or even just enjoy answering questions as if you were participating in a TV quiz show.

What are ChatGPT surveys?

You can ask ChatGPT to perform many tasks. If the request is clear and specific, ChatGPT will complete the task perfectly. Whether it's summarizing a book, guessing a movie title, explaining a complex topic in simple terms, drawing a diagram of the water cycle, impersonating a famous person, or even being your math tutor for a day, just give it a try and see how it responds to your challenges.

ChatGPT explains the purpose of its quizzes: "They are designed to create interactive, flashcard-style quizzes for play." You can specify the topic or difficulty level, the number of possible answers, whether you want to include hints, the number of questions, and so on. As always, you can customize the details more or less precisely. The result will be a short, interactive quiz for you to use and test your knowledge on the chosen topic.

Using ChatGPT quizzes, you can study and review topics learned in class, practice before an exam, learn in a more dynamic and enjoyable way, or, of course, take a quick self-assessment to ensure you understand what ChatGPT has explained or what you've read in other sources. You can also share them with other ChatGPT users or request more question sets from the assistant.

While it's possible to request a quiz directly from ChatGPT, the official method is to activate this feature using the "+" button within the text box. Clicking it will display all the options offered by this assistant. Click "More" and then "Quizzes." Now, describe how you want your ChatGPT quiz to look. The first time you use it, the assistant will ask if you want to connect ChatGPT to the "Quizzes" app, which is specifically designed for this purpose. As the message indicates, it's an official app developed by OpenAI.

Once you grant permission to link, ChatGPT will create and display the quiz within the conversation itself. The quiz is essentially an interactive question with a colored background. Simply tap the correct answer. If your answer is correct, it will turn green; if it's incorrect, it will turn red. At the end of the quiz, your score will be displayed. ChatGPT Quizzes will also suggest additional question sets related to your main topic. Currently, ChatGPT Quizzes is a very basic tool. It doesn't allow you to customize the question background or add images, links, or videos. Questions are currently limited to text only.

During the quiz, you can ask ChatGPT for a hint. Or, if you prefer, you can ask for an explanation of the question if you don't understand it or don't know the answer. Additionally, you'll see the usual buttons for copying the conversation text, checking if ChatGPT's answer is correct, and so on. There's also a "Share" button to send the quiz to friends, acquaintances, or students. A pop-up window will appear allowing you to copy the link and/or post it on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Reddit.
