If you have this dangerous IPTV app installed, uninstall it immediately, no later than tomorrow.
Any malicious IPTV application that you currently have installed must be removed because it contains banking spyware. We will describe an application that can steal all of your banking information, causing all of your savings to disappear from your account.
We are well aware of the risks of falling victim to banking spyware. These threats frequently disguise themselves as legitimate applications or websites, a common tactic used by this type of threat and other malware programs.
We've warned you about malware-infected apps before, and now there's a new one. This new spyware app, dubbed Massiv, has infected your IPTV app with the aim of stealing your data and money.
It turns out that the Massiv app disguised itself as an IPTV app, a tool that promises to let you watch TV online by offering content that likely violates all copyrights.
The problem is that this type of app, because it doesn't comply with Google Play Store rules, is usually found on websites rather than official app stores. Therefore, the availability of this IPTV app in this way doesn't raise any suspicion.
In other words, users wishing to download an IPTV application will not go to the Google Play Store but rather to an unofficial, third-party website or online store. One such website, called IPTV24, has been infected with a banking Trojan horse virus, putting victims' banking information at risk.
To be honest, Massiv disguises itself as an innocent IPTV application called IPTV24 to infiltrate your mobile device, infect it with viruses, and gain full access to your data. What does it do? It targets your banking information and intercepts all kinds of data.
This has serious consequences: it can access your banking credentials and, consequently, withdraw money from your bank account without your knowledge. To achieve this, Massiv activates its mechanisms and even knows when you open the "target" application it needs.
Which app? For example, your bank's app. Instead of opening the official app, it pretends to open the official app when it's actually a fake one. By entering your data or other credentials, you're providing the spyware with all the information it needs to achieve its goal.
This is extremely dangerous, so you must be very careful. Never download suspicious apps, especially IPTV apps for watching illegal content, which, as you know, is illegal. This way, you can avoid unpleasant surprises like these: infected apps designed to steal your money.
If you have the IPTV24 app on your phone, delete it immediately. We also advise you to change your bank account passwords as soon as possible. If it's too late and your money has already been stolen, report the incident to your bank and the relevant authorities.
