To know my computer's temperature at all times, I use MSI Afterburner, a free program that, in conjunction with Riva Turner Statistics Server, allows me to display information about the CPU and GPU temperature on the screen as well.
Using the program is very simple. Once we download and install Afterburner, it also prompts us to install Riva Turner Statistics Server, a program we must also install to display information overlaid on all the games we run. Afterburner's main screen is very simple and allows us to see the CPU and GPU temperatures, memory speeds, and the speeds of the graphics card and processor.
In addition, it allows you to set the maximum operating temperature, adjust fan speeds, create usage curves, and much more. Through the configuration options, we can adjust its operation so that this information is displayed overlaid on the screen and even in the toolbar. To do this, we must click on the gear icon in the left column. Within this menu, we access the "Monitoring" tab.
In the active device monitoring graphs section, we must check all the options we want to display on the screen and specify where we want them to be displayed on the screen.
Finally, click on Apply. When you run any game, the application will display the information we created in the upper left corner, allowing us to see, in real time, whether the computer is getting hotter than usual.
