A new Gemini feature It can now recall the conversations you had with him in the past

Google has just updated Gemini’s capabilities, and now the AI will be able to remember past conversations. The change was posted on the official Google blog, where all the details regarding the reasons behind this new ability introduced by Gemini were revealed.

Google’s plans for Gemini include making AI increasingly useful to users. In fact, starting today, Gemini will be able to remember previous conversations you had with it.

What impact does this have on the experience? According to Google, the benefit lies in the fact that Gemini will have more experience when it comes to answering questions. But that's not all, as it will now be possible to request a summary of the previous conversation.

Gemini will use information from relevant conversations to create an appropriate response to the user's request. Additionally, it will no longer be necessary to start a conversation from scratch or conduct research on topics discussed in previous conversations you had with Gemini.

This change means that Gemini becomes a kind of archive where it can remember everything you've done.

Google will give users more freedom to use this feature. This means that users who use Gemini on a daily basis will be able to control how this information is stored:

- Choose how long you want to keep your chat history.

- Delete chat history

- Check chat history

- Disable Gemini apps activity

The feature, while already working, is currently available in English and for users with Gemini Advanced subscriptions. Google noted that it will be working over the next few weeks to expand the languages supported by this feature as well as its availability to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers.
