Due to serious safety concerns, the European Union has announced a new recall of chargers made in China, specifically Samsung chargers. According to tests, there is a clear risk of electric shock and the device does not meet EU standards.
This particular charger is the "Samsung Super Fast Charger with USB Type-C Cable" model, which comes with a power adapter for a number of Samsung models, such as the S23, S22 Ultra Plus, and Note10, as well as a standard 10–20W European plug. This charger, which is intended for fast charging at 220-240V, has been found to be hazardous and does not adhere to EU safety standards.
All customers who bought this charger are urged by the European Union to stop using it right away and use the Temu platform to request a refund. In particular, customers who bought before June 12, 2024, are required to return the item right away.
