Gemini's best paid feature is now available for free to everyone. Here's how to use it

This news comes as part of a series of announcements Google prepared today. These features include the option to leverage your search history to improve Gemini's responses, or integration with Google Photos, which allows you to create a travel itinerary based on places you've already visited. Starting today, users can enjoy Deep Research in more than 45 languages without a subscription.
Deep Research differentiates itself from traditional chatbot responses by providing comprehensive, multi-page reports on complex topics. Unlike the standard Gemini model, which prioritizes speed, Deep Research takes longer to generate results. This is due to a multi-step process that first creates a research plan before launching web searches to gather relevant data.
Some users will find Deep Research slower than traditional chatbots, as the model prioritizes accuracy and deep analysis.
