Samsung makes public the list of smartphones and tablets that will receive the One UI 7 update.

The date of the upcoming significant update for its phones and tablets has been formally announced by the multinational South Korean corporation. One UI 7, which adds new AI features and other system-wide enhancements, will be available for a limited number of compatible devices to upgrade to on April 7.

Samsung said on Tuesday that it will start releasing the One UI 7 update on April 7. Newer smartphone and tablet models will be the first to receive the OTA update, which will roll out the new operating system version gradually.

Significant design, customization, and AI feature changes are introduced in One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. To enable more natural interaction with Galaxy devices, the interface has been completely redesigned. Additionally, it enhances multitasking capabilities, performance, and notification management.

Expanded support policies are one of the main new features. Samsung, like Google, offers seven years of security and system updates for Pixel devices.

For the first time, One UI 7 will also be available on other branded goods like TVs and household appliances in addition to smartphones and tablets.

As announced by Samsung, the update will initially be available for the following phones:

- Galaxy S24 و S24 FE

- Galaxy S23 Έ S23 FE

- Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6

- Galaxy Z Fold5  و Z Flip5

- Tablets Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9

They announced that the rollout will expand to include other devices in the coming months.

The commitment to this major new design for its system coincides with the launch of iOS 19, Apple's next major update for iPhones, which the company also expects, as it commented, to represent a milestone in user experience and aesthetics.
