The significant update to the Gboard keyboard that your smartphone will soon have
Google is usually very prone to making changes to the design and interface of any of its products and services, and any user can witness this over the years. But one of the most amazing things is yet to come, as Google will soon launch a virtual keyboard in which the keys on your mobile phone will be circular instead of square or rectangular.
As we saw in recent beta tests that 9to5Google had access to, Google’s official keyboard, Gboard, will have new design options for those who hate the square key model inherited from computer keys. With that, fully rounded or pill-shaped keys will soon be available to users.
With this new design, which is not yet available to all users, Google is working on creating an interface that completely changes the look of its keyboard. It is not yet known when it will be available to all users, but it is known that this keyboard can be modified in the settings, so if you do not like the round keys, you can return to the usual design.
There’s no doubt that if there’s one keyboard that people everywhere in the world recognize, it’s Gboard for Android smartphones. In fact, it recently broke an astonishing download record after reaching 10 billion downloads.
Moreover, Google Keyboard has not only changed its design, but in recent weeks it has added amazing new features, such as adding the “undo” function as a shortcut by pressing and holding the screen or the different options available through the quick menu. With this, Gboard continues to work on increasing user satisfaction even more.
