You can download Spotify Premium to your phone for free using this app
Android users who can't afford to pay for Spotify Premium have plenty of alternatives available that they can install to listen to music for free.
However, iOS users have a harder time. Since you can’t download apps outside the App Store, it’s impossible to install these tweaks on your iPhone and iPad that give you the free subscription.
But fortunately we found a secret app in the App Store that only a few people know about and it’s like getting Spotify Premium on an iPhone for free. We’re talking about Demus, a completely free and easy-to-use app that lets you listen to music on your iPhone and iPad without paying anything.
- Demus: Like Spotify Premium for iOS, but 100% free
Demus is an application available in the App Store (below is the store link) and can be downloaded for free. This application allows you to listen to music for free, without ads and without limits. You can change songs as many times as you want, listen to the entire album, etc.
Additionally, you don’t need to use the app to continue listening to music, as it continues to play when you switch apps or turn off the screen on your iPhone and iPad. It’s not like YouTube, where you have to leave the app open and not lock your phone to continue listening to the song.
It also contains the full music catalog of Spotify and YouTube Music, with all the songs and albums from the most popular artists of the moment, but also from distinguished or unknown musicians.
Now, although it doesn't let you download songs for offline listening, it does have other typical Spotify functions like lyrics and the ability to stream playback via AirPlay to a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, car stereo, etc.
And if you're wondering how Demus works, well, it's basically a YouTube Music API client with a built-in ad blocker... How did it not get removed from the App Store? We don't really know, but the app has been on the store for over a year and we haven't had any issues so far.
