You can now monetize the Stories you publish on Facebook
Meta announced that Facebook creators can now start monetizing content shared through Stories, expanding their opportunities to generate revenue from posts on the social network.
The company, headed by Mark Zuckerberg, has content monetization programs across its various platforms, allowing users to monetize their posts and earn money for their interactions with its community.
In this regard, Meta indicated its intention to continue expanding the capabilities of content creators on Facebook, announcing the monetization of Stories on the social network, so that users can begin earning profits from this type of content.
As the company explained in a post on the social network itself, this option allows creators to easily earn money by posting the photos and videos they already produce and sharing them in other formats.
Therefore, the benefits of each story published will depend on its performance on the social network, depending on the interactions it generates with users.
With all this, monetization of Facebook Stories is now available globally to all content creators who are part of the social network's content monetization program.
If you're not part of this program, users can apply to join the beta through the Facebook website. Similarly, users already enrolled in the monetization program simply need to start posting stories to monetize that content.
