Computex 2025 concludes with strong global attendance and a focus on AI innovations



Computex 2025 has ended after a four-day show at Taipei's Nangang Exhibition Halls, which attracted 86,521 purchasers from 152 nations, including Japan, the United States, South Korea, Vietnam, and India. The "AI Next" event showcased advancements in AI, robots, next-generation technology, and future mobility, establishing Taiwan as a significant role in the global tech supply chain.

The display included advancements from key Taiwanese firms. Pegatron demonstrated biometric robot dogs and virtual reality gadgets, emphasizing human-machine interaction. 

BenQ demonstrated an AI-powered golf simulator that provides real-time swing feedback using visual tracing and motion tracking. Advantech and Solomon demonstrated autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robotic arms, and AIoT systems, highlighting Taiwan's capabilities in intelligent manufacturing. 

TADA arranged a Smart Mobility Pavilion with 19 businesses, including Pegatron and OToBrite, that focused on electric and intelligent car technology.

InnoVEX, the startup category in its tenth year, increased by 12.5% compared to 2024, with 450 startups from 24 countries. Thailand and the Philippines both had new national pavilions, which contained 22 startups. The InnoVEX Forum featured speakers from AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Solomon, and Advantech who discussed AI's role in digital transformation. DeepRad.AI from Taiwan won the Pitch Contest for its AI-powered medical imaging device that aims to detect diseases early on.

NVIDIA's Jensen Huang, Qualcomm's Cristiano Amon, Foxconn's Young Liu, MediaTek's Dr. Rick Tsai, and NXP's Jens Hinrichsen delivered keynote remarks emphasizing Taiwan's pivotal position in the AI ecosystem. The COMPUTEX Forum, entitled "AI in Action," drew over 1,300 delegates and included 13 industry executives from firms like Intel, Arm, and Google DeepMind who discussed AI applications and market trends.

Pegatron received the Gold Award for Sustainable Design, followed by ASUS (Silver) and Lite-On (Bronze). Cross-industry partnerships included plain-me and Kuai Kuai's co-branded goods line, as well as a Hospitality Lounge presented by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation and GQ Taiwan that combined capital markets and leisure features.

COMPUTEX 2026 is set to take place from June 2 to 5 and will feature TWTC Hall 1 as well as Nangang Exhibition Halls, with the goal of creating a specialized AI-powered digital lifestyle ecosystem.
