There is an abundance of AI-generated images on the internet as a result of all the advancements in artificial intelligence and the resulting image generation. To be fair, there are instances when AI-generated images are so good that it's really hard to tell if they were taken by one of our sophisticated chatbots or by an actual person.
It never hurts to be able to "defend" ourselves against the real author of an image because of this. We looked at the AI Image Detector Google Chrome extension to accomplish this. How does the AI image detector work?

This Swin v2 model is a technique trained on over 200,000 different images collected from social media and browsers. All of these images were generated by artificial intelligence. Therefore, we can confirm that it has a good foundation for detecting any type of pattern.
