Microsoft reiterates that you should purchase a new computer because Windows 11 is faster and better

With only a few months left until Windows 10 support ends, Microsoft is redoubling its efforts to convince users to switch to the new operating system.

Microsoft has been trying to persuade users to upgrade to Windows 11 for a few weeks by publishing a series of tips, including discussing the benefits of how TPM works.

So it may come as no surprise to you to learn that Microsoft has just published a new white paper highlighting all the benefits of owning a Windows 11-compatible PC.

Basically, this time, they're even talking about the benefits of the new Surface Copilot, so in a way, they're telling you to buy a new computer again.

The company says, "On October 14, 2025, Windows 10 PCs will stop receiving feature and security updates, increasing security risks and operational challenges. Now is the time to plan your next move. This is an opportunity to upgrade to modern devices designed for current security standards, AI capabilities, and hybrid work needs."

Microsoft also provided detailed figures on how Windows 11 and Copilot+ PCs can help, essentially stating that workflows can be up to 50% faster than on older devices.

"Workflows are up to 50% faster on average compared to older devices. Whether you're creating content, reviewing documents, or analyzing data, Surface delivers the performance you need to stay productive and competitive."

Furthermore, the report adds that security incidents decreased by 62%, indicating that features like Secure Boot help reduce firmware attacks by up to three times.

Organizations using Surface and other Windows 11 Pro devices reported a 62% reduction in security incidents, reducing risk and providing peace of mind.
