Google Photos is getting smarter. You can now use your voice to edit photos

At its recent event in New York, Google announced a feature you'll love that will be available in Google Photos, allowing you, among other things, to edit photos using just your voice.

This new feature in the Google Photos app, as we mentioned, will allow you to edit photos using voice commands.

According to the company, it's built on Google's redesigned photo editor, which already offered AI-powered suggestions.

Now, with Gemini, we can give verbal or written instructions to make various changes to images.

Voice commands include examples such as correcting colors and removing reflections, removing specific elements from the background, restoring old photos, changing image elements, or adding distinctive details to them.

This feature will be rolling out first to Pixel 10 users in the US, and is expected to roll out to other Android and iOS devices soon.

Additionally, Google announced that it will integrate support for C2PA content authentication into the Camera app and Google Photos, a standard that will provide a digital classification for images, allowing users to verify their source, editing history, and authenticity to combat deepfake and similar content.

In this way, Google Photos becomes an essential tool that allows us to make edits to photos simply using voice commands.
