There's no doubt that Project BobPony might be ideal for Windows 7 enthusiasts who don't want to upgrade to newer versions of Microsoft software. However, for the average user who simply needs a working computer, it might not be so straightforward, especially if their use is limited to work.
Windows 11 is a disaster, and Microsoft has already ended support for Windows 10 except for those who pay for additional security updates. Switching to Linux isn't an option for everyone either. So, it's no surprise that this special edition of Windows 7 is so appealing.
However, it's important to note that this isn't an official Microsoft project but rather a modified version created by an individual. This has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, it provides access to a version Microsoft doesn't intend to release; on the other hand, you have to rely on the good faith of the third party who decided to modify the software.
