Have you lost your Bluetooth device? Here's how you can find it with this app.

Losing a Bluetooth device, such as wireless headphones, a portable speaker, or even a smartwatch, can be incredibly frustrating. But it's not always bad news. As long as the device has a battery and Bluetooth is enabled, it can be located.

With a little patience and the help of some free tools, you can find any lost Bluetooth device. Just keep reading our article, where we'll explain step-by-step how to find it in just a few steps.

Although both Android and iOS can detect some devices, it's recommended to install a Bluetooth scanning app. The best app for us is LightBlue. It's available for both operating systems and can be downloaded for free from the link at the end of this paragraph.

Once downloaded and installed, you will need to follow these steps to find a lost Bluetooth device using the app:

- Open the LightBlue app.

- Tap "While using the app" to allow the app to access your device's location.

- Click on "Allow" to allow LightBlue to find nearby devices.

- Click on "Next" to start the scan.

- Click on "Close".

Within seconds, all Bluetooth devices near your phone will appear.

- As you move, the indicator will show how close you are to the missing Bluetooth device.

The stronger the signal, the closer you are to the Bluetooth device.

It is important to move around to locate the signal and check its strength. The higher the value, the closer you are; the lower the value, the farther away you are.

Please note that this app works with any Bluetooth device. So, if you have a keyboard or mouse connected to your phone and it's powered on, but you can't find it, the app will detect it automatically.

Last but not least, the method we are showing you here works with any mobile phone, Bluetooth device, and version (Bluetooth 5.4, 6.0, 6.1, etc.).
