If you own one of these 41 Xiaomi phones, the news is not good.
When Xiaomi updates its list of discontinued phones, it usually means bad news for most customers. Instead of adding just a few models this week, the company expanded the list to include 41 Xiaomi phones that are no longer officially supported as of today. These phones will no longer receive Android system updates or security patches, and any bugs or issues will remain until you decide to permanently stop using them.
Does this imply that they will stop working? Not necessarily, but they will be considered obsolete once support is discontinued. These Xiaomi phones are now considered obsolete and no longer warrant the time or effort of the company's development team. They will function as they did yesterday, but their security will gradually deteriorate, and some apps may cease to function if support is maintained for an extended period of time.
Currently, there's no need to be concerned if your phone model has been added to the list of discontinued devices, as it will remain there permanently. As previously stated, it is not catastrophic; however, if you were hoping for a fix for a serious bug, we have bad news: Xiaomi will no longer support it.
Many Redmi and POCO models, as well as Xiaomi phones, are among the devices affected by the discontinuation of support.
Xiaomi released a list of devices whose end-of-life support (EOL) began on March 1st, and all devices on the list will no longer receive updates. This is not surprising given that the majority of these Xiaomi phones have likely received minimal support for several months. Their obsolescence is now official.

Are these the only Xiaomi phones that will lose support? No. These are the models added this month, but they aren't the only ones. In fact, all the models mentioned earlier were already on the list and haven't received updates for some time.
Therefore, if you have any older models, you should know that they are most likely also included in this blacklist.
