Your phone is about to undergo a transformation unlike any other... Gemini 3 launches on Android with two incredible new features.
Google used the launch of the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus to announce a series of new features for Gemini, which will be available not only on Samsung phones but also on more than 580 million other Android devices. We already knew that Google's AI technology would be able to control your apps, and now the company has confirmed that Gemini 3 is finally coming to phones with a number of enhancements.
In fact, the Gemini 3 significantly improves the Circle to Search feature, which is already present in many phones from brands like Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, and others. Now, as a new feature, Circle to Search lets you explore multiple items in a single image at once. That is, you no longer have to select an item, search for it, and then use Circle to Search again to select another item you're interested in; you can simply select multiple items and start asking Gemini.
Here's an example of something new in Gemini 3: You see an Instagram post with several decorative items and want to find out where they came from. Use the circular search function, select the items you want, and start searching. The same applies to any outfit you see: you can search for a shirt, shoes, or pants all at once.
Google has also improved the text box that lets you ask Gemini any question. It's now at the bottom of the tab and features an interface similar to AI chat functionality, making the user experience more user-friendly and intuitive.
The Gemini 3 app makes your mobile phone smarter.
We reiterate that this improvement in Circle to Search is thanks to the integration of the Gemini 3 processor in Android phones. Google's new AI model is more advanced and capable of multitasking. Google also confirms that its new AI is capable of "creating a multi-step plan to get the best results for everything you search for on the screen."
Not only has the Gemini 3 processor been integrated into Circle to Search, but Google also announced the addition of a smart assistant capable of automatically controlling some of your phone's apps. You can simply ask it to perform any task, and artificial intelligence will handle it, such as ordering food delivery, buying clothing, and so on.
All these features will first arrive on the Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26 phones but will later expand to include other Android phones.
