Google's new AI app will astound you with all of its capabilities... Here is a link to try it.
Google today released new tools for Flow, its AI-powered photo and video editor, that incorporate its top generative models, Nano Banana and Veo 3.
Flow allows you to process, merge, or create new content using artificial intelligence in a single application, and it is also available for free.
For example, you can merge two images into a video, remove elements from a video or image, create content from scratch, and much more. Flow will use either Nano Banana or Veo 3 as needed and can even use them simultaneously.
Google is working to transform its Flow multimedia editor into a comprehensive tool that lets you personalize photos and videos with text or voice prompts, in addition to some basic features. The company released some of these additional features today.
Thanks to the new features, you can convert photos to video, merge and animate multiple photos, or use a drawing as a background for the video, in addition to many other features.
One of the most notable new features is the Lasso tool, which allows you to precisely select any person or element to remove from a photo or video, replace it with another element, or alter anything else within it. You can see some of these new features in the following video:
For the first time, it is possible to edit camera movements or extend the video; you simply decide how to proceed, and Veo 3 will create and add it.
If you use Flow frequently, you can now create, organize, and save collections of photos and videos for easy access later. You can also drag them from one location to another or into a pop-up window. Multiple viewing modes are also available for these collections. These features may seem basic, but they weren't available before, so they're a great addition that improves the tool's usability.
We still have some time to go, but Google is certainly working to compete with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and others in the future.
From the user's perspective, it requires a "change in mindset," learning a new and much simpler way of working. Goodbye to menus and icons, and hello to tools that work with text or voice commands.
You can try these great new Flow tools on their official website . All you need is a Google account.
