The Paint app for Windows is getting a new feature that everyone has been asking for.

Microsoft's Paint program, which is the default image editor in Windows 11, has received an update that includes a highly requested feature: free rotation.

Thanks to this feature, it is now possible to rotate any selected element at any angle, thus overcoming the previous restriction of rotating at a fixed angle of 90 or 180 degrees.

This new feature simplifies creative work by offering greater flexibility in manipulating shapes, text, and any selected element. To use it, simply open Paint, select the element you want to rotate, and then drag the rotate handle above it.

For more precise control, the rotation menu includes a custom rotation option, where a specific angle can be entered.

The update was initially released to Windows Insider Program users in the Dev and Canary channels and will soon be available in the stable version for everyone.

This feature joins other recent improvements to the Paint program, such as the addition of an AI-powered tool that enables users to create coloring books from drawings or photos.

Microsoft indicates that free recycling is a direct response to community requests, demonstrating that the company continues to pay attention to user demands.

Thanks to this improvement, users gain greater control over their edits and the ability to experiment with more precise and dynamic compositions in the Paint program.
