Ctrl + Shift + T is the most important shortcut on your computer that you probably don't know about.

We've previously compiled a list of the best shortcuts for Windows and Chrome on the Hou for Information blog. However, in this article, we wanted to highlight one of the most useful key combinations ever, which works with the vast majority of browsers. We're talking about the key combination that allows us to reopen tabs we recently closed.

If you use your computer frequently, you might accidentally close browser tabs. Sometimes we get caught up in our tasks and, without realizing it, we might press the "Close" button instead of "Minimize," foolishly wasting time. However, using this keyboard shortcut will save you a lot of time, as you'll be able to view the closed tab again instantly.

The keyboard shortcut mentioned is CTRL + Shift + T. This way, if you accidentally close a tab, you can restore it using this key combination, making it reappear instantly.

CTRL + Shift + T is a shortcut for the Windows version. However, Mac users can also access this shortcut using the key combination Cmd + Shift + T. Additionally, it works with the vast majority of browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and others.

The shortcut not only reopens the last closed tab but also saves previously viewed pages from that tab. Clicking this shortcut multiple times will also reopen other, older tabs.

If you completely close your browser, the shortcut will also restore your browser window, making it an extremely useful key combination if you tend to work for extended periods on your computer. After using it a few times, you'll surely memorize it.

Another way to reopen a tab you accidentally closed is by searching for tabs in your browser. In Chromium-based browsers, simply press CTRL+Shift+A and a search box will appear displaying all your tabs, including those you recently closed.

I  discovered a secret in the keyboard shortcut ALT + Tab, and you should use it often.
