At a price of 14 thousand dirhams Apple launches Vision Pro glasses in the Emirates

Apple has begun launching its Vision Pro mixed reality headset in its stores in the UAE, as well as South Korea, as part of the company’s efforts to provide its new product in global markets.

The company has given customers the opportunity to book a free 30-minute session to try out the glasses at Apple stores in the UAE, where the customer will meet one of the company’s specialized employees to review and try out the glasses.

Apple has updated the glasses page on its website in the United Arab Emirates, to provide additional details about the glasses for those who want to get to know them better, with the possibility of booking a free trial session, and knowing the price of the glasses and accessories.

Apple first launched the Vision Pro in the US in February, with a starting price of $3,500.

The Vision Pro price in the UAE starts at AED 14,000 for the 256GB version, while Apple offers 512GB and 1TB storage at AED 14,800 and AED 15,600 respectively. You can also subscribe to an additional two-year extended warranty for the glasses at AED 2,000.

In the middle of this year, Apple expanded the product launch to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. With the addition of South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, the product is now available in 12 countries around the world.

Previous forecasts indicated that Vision Pro sales would fall below 500,000 units this year.

In a recent interview, Apple CEO Tim Cook admitted that the product is not targeting all customers due to its high price, stressing that the product is currently intended for early adopters who want to get “the technology of tomorrow” now.
