Gemini app is now available for everyone for iPhone. You can download it now in the App Store
After announcing it during the last Google I/O conference this year 2024, and later launching on the Android system, the official Google Gemini app, the personal assistant based on artificial intelligence, continues to make its way between the main platforms, and as of today, it is already available on iOS devices through the App Store.
The company itself announced in a statement, explaining that from this moment, it is no longer necessary to use the search engine application to be able to interact with Gemini as before. Simply download and install the new app through the App Store to start using all the functions of the assistant.
Google has created the Gemini app for iOS that retains the vast majority of functions that are also present in its Android version. Initially, the app allows you to ask questions to the assistant, either via text or voice messages.
Gemini for iOS also includes the Gemini Live function, which allows you to have a smooth conversation with the assistant, without interruption and using natural language.
This version of the app also includes connecting to other Google apps, including Gmail, Maps, Calendar, YouTube, or Drive, among others. In this way, the assistant can access the information stored in these services to provide more relevant responses and even perform actions without the need for user-side interaction.
The Google Gemini app for iOS can be downloaded today from the App Store and is compatible with any model that includes iOS 16 or higher. Simply need a Google account to start using the assistant.
