Bye X. This new free app brings together Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Nostr in one place

Millions of users of Elon Musk's social network have decided to leave the platform in search of another place where they can share their ideas and connect with people from all over the world, away from the toxic and politicized environment that previously surrounded the network known as Twitter, and even more so now that Donald Trump won the US elections and that Musk himself has taken over the leadership of one of the government departments.

But there's a problem: there are a lot of alternatives to X, and many people don't know where to go after leaving X. Threads or Bluesky? Fortunately, they all have something in common: they are decentralized social networks compatible with the ActivityPub protocol, which means that it is possible to access posts issued on another from one social network.

To facilitate migration, services and tools have emerged that promise to make this process much easier. One of the latest apps is OpenVibe, a 100% free app that lets you access Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Nostr from the same place.

OpenVibe is a 100% free app, promoted as ad-free, easy to use, and requires no advanced permissions. They also do not sell user data with third parties.

Its goal is to make the transition to platforms like Bluesky or Threads easier for all users who are not satisfied with the X. How? It's very simple: remove the barriers in between, so the user can interact with the people who really interest them, regardless of the platform each of them uses.

To do this, OpenVibe builds its operations on a single schedule that extracts content from the four decentralized social networks (Threads, Mastodon, Nostr, and Bluesky). This way, what the user sees are posts from the people they follow, regardless of where they originally posted the content. In addition, it also allows the same content to be published on multiple platforms simultaneously.

It is possible to download Openvibe for free on iOS and Android, and in the future, there may be a desktop version.
