Acer releases the new Predator Helios Neo. Predator Helios Neo-16 AIxt-generation processors and GPUs
Katowice (February 7, 2025). Acer today announced the addition of two new Predator Helios Neo-18 AIops: the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI. These cutting-edge devices, powered by an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 275HX CPU and an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, are engineered to enable game-changing AI capabilities for gamers entering the next age of gaming.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 50 Series Laptop GPUs, powered by NVIDIA Blackwell, provide innovative features for gamers and artists. The RTX 50 Series, with its huge AI horsepower, allows new experiences and high-fidelity visuals. NVIDIA DLSS 4 boosts performance, generates pictures at new speeds, and unleashes creativity with NVIDIA Studio. You'll also get access to NVIDIA NIM microservices, which are cutting-edge AI models that allow hobbyists and developers to create AI assistants, agents, and workflows that run at optimal performance on NIM-ready computers.
In addition to their strong hardware, the Predator Helios Neo AI devices provide remarkable display possibilities. The 16-inch variant supports an OLED panel, while the 18-inch model has a Mini LED display. Both devices include 5th Gen AeroBlade™ 3D fans for optimal performance and cooling during any work or challenge.
The Windows 11 Predator gaming laptops include three months of PC Game Pass, which is targeted for PC users and allows immediate access to games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Ara: History Untold, and EA Play titles.
Predator Helios Neo 16AI and Helios Neo 18AI
Acer's Predator Helios Neo AI range prioritizes affordability by focusing on core components. The Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-73) AI is appropriate for mobile gamers and professionals, while the Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-72) is an excellent desktop alternative. Both gaming laptops come with cutting-edge technology and understated minimalist designs, including an RGB logo on the lid and dynamic 4-zone RGB keyboards.
Predator Helios Neo laptops have powerful Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 275HX processors for smooth and responsive gameplay. Users will benefit from improved game and system speed, lower latency, and automatic enhancements for classic titles, owing to continual upgrades to the Intel Application Optimization [1] application.
These laptops have up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop GPU with NVIDIA DLSS 4, a cutting-edge neural rendering technology that enhances image quality, reduces latency, and boosts FPS.

Acer's 5th Gen AeroBlade technology, liquid metal thermal grease, and a Vector Heat Pipe help keep gaming sessions cool. They also have the most recent PredatorSense 5.0 utility software, an AI Experience Zone, and AI-enhanced communications, such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0's triple microphone array and AI noise reduction technology to filter out undesired background noise. The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-73) will be available in North America in April for USD 1,899.99 and in EMEA in May for EUR 1,699.
The Predator Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-72) will be available in North America in May at a starting price of USD 2,199.99 and in EMEA in June at EUR 1,799.
