Installing Windows 11 without fulfilling the requirements makes you a Microsoft enemy

Bill Gates and Paul Allen decided to issue a more severe warning than they had previously believed after unconditionally canceling the official method of installing the company's new operating system.

A new strategy from the company has left all users who have computers without TPM 2.0 and other specifications in disbelief.

One of the native Windows 11 tools will identify a computer as malicious if it meets these update methods below the minimum requirements.

For a long time, Microsoft has offered an official way to install Windows 11 without having to meet all the requirements, especially to bypass TPM 2.0, which many computers do not have.

That changed in early 2025 with an update to the support page under How to Install Windows 11. The company changed all the ways to perform the process, leaving only two options: either buy a new computer with the necessary specifications or upgrade for free from Windows 10 using a computer with the minimum requirements.

Well, now another restriction has arrived regarding the Flyby11 appThis gives users the ability to do the complete process of disabling the TPM 2.0 requirement for system installation on any device in a simpler way.

According to Neowin experts, Windows Defender registered the application as a potential malware or potentially unwanted application (PUA) by not following the instructions required for the corresponding installation.

Apparently, you can continue using the Flyby11 app without any virus-related issues; it's just that the native security registers it as an "application that may affect the quality of your computing experience."

When talking about PUA, it stands for adware, spyware, or potential browser hijackers, so these are serious things.

Based on how Microsoft's antivirus reacts, the developers believe it might be a bug and will contact the company soon to check if it is no longer acceptable.

What is recommended now is to analyze the same program with other antivirus programs or try to install it through a virtual machine to check if the same thing keeps happening and if it could actually pose a risk.

This will be another limitation that will reduce the options for users who continue to use Windows 10 until the end of support in October 2025, as things are getting more difficult, and Microsoft has already started narrowing all possibilities for installing Windows 11 on unsupported devices.
