For the first time in many years, a new design has been released for the popular Patch My PC software update program
Patch My PC, an essential tool for keeping our software up to date, has now been updated to version 5.1.0. This new update is a commitment to our users to significantly improve the process of updating our software. Specifically, this feature is responsible for checking for and installing updates for our software.
Patch my PC actively scans our system, detects software that needs updating, and then installs it in the background while we continue to do whatever we're doing. So, if you want to keep your software up to date, you have a powerful (and revamped) option to do it automatically. Let's see what the new update has in store for us.
This new update maintains its core features, while also introducing some very useful new ones.
As Patch my PC has always done, it's able to update more than 500 programs that almost all of us are familiar with and have had on our computers. Additionally, it's updated its interface so we can more easily view updated applications and those that need the latest update.
We now also have an option to automatically close any program before any updates are performed. Additionally, we can also uninstall programs from their respective interface, allowing us to better manage our computer. With the arrival of the new update, we can say that the scan time has been further reduced, and by default, it can be completed in less than a second. If you prefer to schedule updates, you will also have this option from the update schedule.
Patch My PC 5.1.0 is a very useful update, and while it doesn't bring revolutionary changes, it does enhance its functionality and the control we have over our own programs.
