How to know if your WhatsApp is being controlled is easier than it seems, as there are two very effective ways through which you will quickly know if someone is reading your conversations without your permission:
- From active sessions
Open the WhatsApp application on your Android or iPhone mobile phone, then go to the three dots at the top and tap on Linked devices.
- Here you will find a list of all active sessions and the date and time they were connected.

- Via WhatsApp Web
