Now, thanks to Aria, the browser's built-in artificial intelligence, users can perform tasks like closing tabs or grouping them by topic using simple voice commands. Activating this feature is surprisingly simple: simply access the browser's command line—using the keyboard shortcut /+ctrl on Windows or /+cmd on Mac—and type in a tab-related command.
Opera has thought of all possible scenarios and added an additional option for those times when we have five or more tabs open. In this case, you can right-click on any of them and select "AI Tab Manager" from the drop-down menu. It's that easy. Imagine being able to tell your browser to "close all Wikipedia tabs" or "group all my YouTube tabs." It sounds like science fiction, but thanks to Opera, it's a reality.
But what about privacy and security? In a world where data protection is becoming increasingly important, Opera developed this feature with particular attention to these aspects. When using Tab commands, only the content of the message typed by the user is sent to the server. For example, if you type "Close all my YouTube tabs," that's the only thing that will be transmitted. All related data is processed locally in the browser. This ensures that the user's personal information remains safe and private.
Additionally, Opera is working to improve the quality of Aria's responses on specific topics. For example, the AI is expected to provide more accurate and useful information about shopping, product searches, cooking, and recipes. Improvements are also being made to gaming-related issues, which will undoubtedly be great news for millions of gamers.
It's important to note that these improvements won't be limited to Opera One. The company confirmed that the new AI features will also be available in Opera GX, its browser for gamers, and Opera Air, its lighter and faster version.
