WiiU games can now be accurately emulated on Android devices. Get this emulator.
Switch emulators for Android and other platforms may have been the target of Nintendo's war. One emulator for a different console, though, has recently undergone a significant update and is still functional. We are discussing Cemu, the most comprehensive and well-liked WiiU emulator, which did a great job on PC but still had many shortcomings on Android.
Fortunately for you, though, it appears that the mobile version has recently changed everything. Wii U emulation on mobile devices is now a reality beyond testing thanks to an update for the Cemu app for Android that greatly enhances performance.
Since 2015, Cemu has been accessible on PC, and its constant development has allowed it to perform well there. Having only been developed in 2024, its history on Android is far more recent. Initially designed mainly for testing, a much more advanced version has now been made available.
We are discussing Cemu V0.1 for Android, a release that builds upon everything that has been seen thus far and was made by SSimco, a volunteer. Although SSimco is not a member of the Cemu development team, they have already provided some support for this new build, so it cannot be regarded as official.
Nevertheless, we can now play WiiU games on Android for the first time with more than fantastic performance.
Let us go on to the section of this article that may most interest you. The first thing you should be aware of is that the following requirements are not an official list for using this version of Cemu on Android:
You must have Android 12 or later installed.
You need a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip of superior quality.
As much RAM as you can should be available.
As for downloading, you should download the APK file from this repository only.
Its APK is installed manually like any other APK on Android.
Remember that you must have the original WiiU game in order to emulate a copy of it.
