Without users being aware of it, Windows 11 is making your computer slower

Lately, installing a new Windows 11 update can be considered a risky sport if we look at the bugs reported by the user community, which can lead to certain compatibility issues.

In fact, the latest information mentioned by Borncity seems to be surprising, as they basically say that some cumulative updates, specifically Windows 11, can slow down the computer in the background without users knowing about it.

Specifically, they found the issue on an ASRock system with an Intel Ultra 9 285K CPU where Windows 11 appears to go into some sort of power saving mode when a task is minimized.

To prove this, they tested it using different benchmarks, where a significant drop in performance was observed when apps were in the background.

Apparently, this performance test was not seen in previous generation processors, so this may explain why the same performance limits were not detected in other tests.

Though it may come as a surprise, the truth is that this is not the first time this has happened, as similar cases of irregular performance have been reported before.

These types of issues give users a lot of doubts about whether or not to update to the latest Windows 11 builds, especially 24H2, which has shown a lot of inconsistency, lack of compatibility, and a lot of bugs reported by the user community before.
