Does the application crash? You can now stop it straight from the taskbar in Windows 11. Here's how to make it active

If you frequently use Windows, it is likely that you have experienced multiple application crashes. Opening Task Manager, locating the problematic application, and ending its running process are the standard steps.

Although this has been the case for a number of years across different Windows operating systems, Windows 11 has brought about a change. We no longer need to open the Task Manager because a new option has been added that lets us exit the problematic application straight from the taskbar.

With Windows 11, we now have a new option called "End Task," which is a hidden setting in the operating system's settings that is accessible to all users. But you should make sure that you have the most recent version of Windows 11 installed, 24H2.

To activate it, navigate straight to Windows 11 Settings, choose "System" from the menu on the left, and then search for the "For Developers" option, which is situated about in the center.

The "End Task" option will show up in the center of the list once you get to the "For Developers" section, and it will be turned off by default.

You can end any application from the taskbar without opening the Task Manager if you enable it, which is what we are recommending.

When you enable this feature, you will see a new option called "End All Tasks" when you right-click on any open application in the taskbar. If you click it, the entire process will be forced to end.

Please be aware that using this option will cause the application to completely shut down, preventing the system from saving any data that the user did not save. This is because a forced shutdown prevents the application from saving or performing cleaning tasks.

All Windows 11 24H2 users should now be able to use the feature, which you can activate as previously mentioned.
