The first 10 internet network in the world is announced by China

China has launched the first 10GbE broadband network in the world, demonstrating its continued technological progress. Huawei and China Unicom are working on the project, which is expected to launch in Xiong'an City, Sunan County, Hebei Province.

Up to 9,834 Mbps download and 1,008 Mbps upload speeds, as well as latency as low as 3 ms, are all included in the plan. A 50 Gbps passive optical network (PON) will power it, enabling, for instance, the download of a 4K movie in 20 seconds as opposed to the previous seven to ten minutes.

The city that will gain the most is Xiong'an, which was constructed from the ground up and started operations in 2017. President Xi Jinping himself has pushed the project, which they refer to as a "city of the future."

This city, which was formerly a rural swamp, aims to be both inventive and sustainable. The city has digital infrastructure, waste management systems, and streetlights that are the only ones in the world with facial recognition cameras.

Millions of trees have also been planted in an attempt to make it appear greener and prevent environmental issues by fusing technology and nature.

At 2,000 square kilometers, it is almost three times larger than New York City. According to Xing Tianhe, director of the Hebei City Planning Association, "the new area, along with Beijing and Tianjin, will form a world-class urban cluster and drive economic growth in northern China as a whole."

According to Yuan Xiaodong, CTO of Xiong'an Yunwang Technology, "Xiongan will be a leader in innovation, offering endless possibilities and opportunities."
