Google is incorporating Gemini into Google Photos to enable AI-powered speedy photo searches.

One of the most anticipated uses of Gemini will soon be available to us, specifically in Google Photos, where we will be able to search through the thousands of photos we have stored by simply describing them.

Though initially restricted to US users, Google has started to roll out its eagerly anticipated Gemini integration to Google Photos.

This integration will allow us to search for specific images or retrieve pertinent information with ease once we connect the Gemini app to our Google Photos account.

If you meet the requirements, the feature will be available to Android users using the Gemini app.

To activate this integration, open the Gemini app, tap the profile icon in the upper right corner, select Apps, and then activate Google Photos.

Once enabled, you can ask Gemini to search for images based on a few criteria: groups of faces, location, dates, descriptions, or even the conversation you're currently having with the AI.

You will be able to order things like the meals you ate during your last visit to the restaurant, things you saw on your last trip, etc.

It is unknown when Gemini's integration with Google Photos will be available to everyone.
