The new version of Android 16, which is still being developed at a rapid pace, is expected to be released earlier than ever next summer—likely in May of 2025. The best part is that as it draws nearer, its list of new features keeps expanding.
In any event, the first list of phones that will receive the Android 16 update in the upcoming weeks and months is already available here once Google finishes the development process, which appears to be moving quickly.
More than 150 phones from different manufacturers are included in this extensive list, which was put together by numerous media outlets around the world. This shows how well Google has done in making Android operating system updates—or at least these significant update packages—faster and easier to implement. It no longer seems like a full year of work is needed to complete them.
However, we will stop wasting time on introductions. These are all of the leading manufacturers and phones that are anticipated to get Android 16 by the end of 2025 or next summer. The number of them is enormous!
