Update your iPhone right away. Two extremely serious vulnerabilities that are being actively exploited have been fixed by Apple

Apple shocked users by announcing in a newly released document that it had patched two significant security flaws that had recently been "actively exploited" and affected iOS devices.

According to Apple employees, "highly sophisticated" attacks that targeted particular people used these vulnerabilities.

Two internal frameworks with iOS roots, CoreAudio and RPAC, are implicated in the vulnerabilities.

Apple stated that "processing an audio stream in a maliciously crafted media file could lead to code execution" in reference to the CoreAudio bug.

A low-level security architecture called RPAC was impacted by the second problem, which gave attackers read and write access to pointer authentication—a feature that guards against memory-based attacks.

Updating your iOS device to the most recent version is therefore imperative.

Let us start by discussing iOS 18.4.1, which your iPhone should be able to run.

Other systems like tvOS 18.4.1, macOS Sequoia 15.4.1, and VisionOS 2.4.1 can also receive updates.
