How to set up the computer to turn on automatically at a certain time and wait for you to finish your work

This post will teach you how to set your personal computer to turn on automatically at a specified time if your work schedule requires it to be turned on at a certain time every day or if it's a server that you wish to access remotely at a particular time.

The Shut Down option shuts down the primary hardware components of your computer but does not completely shut it down. You must activate a feature in the BIOS settings that instructs the internal hardware components to start up at the designated time if you want your computer to turn on automatically after shutting down. Pressing F2, Delete, F10, or Esc (depending on your device) will let you access the BIOS settings for your device. Look for an option in the BIOS screen that manages the auto-start function. It's typically called Power By RTC Alarm or something like that, like in the picture.

After activating it, choose the days and times you want your computer to boot up automatically using the options below. Click Save & Exit to save the updated settings after you're finished. The timetable you specify will be automatically followed by your computer.

While not present in every device, laptops frequently have this feature. The features Power-On by Alarm, RTC Alarm Power On, WakeUp by Alarm, and Automatic Power-On may be available. In order to avoid activating settings that you are unfamiliar with and could potentially damage your computer in the future, it is therefore better to search for your computer type on Google.
