Some of Xiaomi's most well-known phones have six serious flaws, the company warns. Update as soon as you can if this occurs to you.
Xiaomi regularly releases new operating system updates for its phones. This is evidenced by the widespread rollout of HyperOS 2.2. But the business also takes its time fixing other problems and weaknesses that might seriously jeopardize user security. In fact, regarding bugs, Xiaomi asks customers who own one of these phones to update as soon as a new version is released, thus correcting up to six issues present in current versions.
These issues affect several of the brand's most popular phones, such as the Poco X5 5G, all models of the Redmi Note 14 series, and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet. The company confirmed that some phones, such as the Redmi A3, POCO X6 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, and Redmi Note 13, are also affected by some of these six system vulnerabilities.
In any case, fortunately, Xiaomi is already working on a solution, and it's highly recommended that you update your phone as soon as you receive a notification about a new update. As Xiaomi itself has revealed, many of these issues render your phone unusable, with problems such as a completely black screen, touch failure, or constant reboots.
Currently, Xiaomi has not released an update to fix these bugs. However, they ask their users to stay tuned, as they will soon release updates containing fixes.
To check if the update is already available, simply go to Settings > System Information > Software Update. Remember, you need at least a 50% battery charge and sufficient space on your device's internal memory.
