The first business to achieve a $4 trillion market value is NVIDIA.
On Wednesday, the American tech behemoth Nvidia made history by becoming the first company to reach $4 trillion in market capitalization, making it the most valuable listed company ever.
After closing yesterday's session at $160, the American chip and graphics card manufacturer's shares started the day up 0.76%, but in just a few minutes, they surged to an intraday high of $164.37, up 2.73%, and surpassed the $4 trillion market capitalization mark.
Under the direction of Jensen Hwang, the business has hit a record-breaking stock market milestone. Apple was the first business to reach $1 trillion, $2 trillion, and $3 trillion in the past.
NVIDIA was established in 1993, and by 2025, its stock is predicted to increase by over 28%, doubling its market capitalization in less than a year and a half. In February 2024, it was valued at more than $2 trillion, and a few months later, in June 2024, it was valued at $3 trillion.
On August 27, the multinational corporation is expected to report its second-quarter financial results. It projects operating expenses of roughly $5.7 billion, gross margins of 71.8%, with a 50 basis point variability, and revenues of $45 billion, with a 2% variability.
