YouTube launches the Hype feature that will make your channel famous and big quickly. Here's how it works.
YouTube's Hype feature recently launched in 39 countries, allowing users around the world to help their favorite creators grow.
Google Video launched Hype last year to offer a "unique way" to help its favorite emerging creators gain exposure, given the difficulty of growing channels with a small subscriber base.
YouTube has now announced that this feature is now available in 39 countries. Viewers can promote up to three videos per week from a creator with between 500 and 500,000 subscribers.
When a video is promoted in this way, it also earns points, giving it the opportunity to appear on the new leaderboard in the Explore menu, the platform explained in a statement published on its blog.

To ensure equal opportunities, this feature gives smaller creators greater support. The fewer subscribers a channel has, the greater the reward.
YouTube also announced that the Hype feature has become "more powerful and easier to use" thanks to new tools. Specifically, a dedicated "Hype" button has been placed directly below the video, making it easier for users to show their support, and a "Booster" badge will appear on YouTube videos, making them more recognizable.
For creators, you'll be able to see the exact number of Promoter Points and Promoter Points each video has earned directly in the YouTube Studio mobile app, and review your video analytics for a new Promo Card and summary in your weekly data stories.
