Are you experiencing a blue screen in Windows 11? Don't worry, the problem isn't with your device. Microsoft confirms the error and provides a solution.
There are some problems that have plagued Windows computers for years, and most users dread them. One of the most prominent is the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).
This screen typically appears suddenly while we're using our computer, resulting from a serious operating system error. Worse still, it doesn't allow us to save our work, forcing us to restart the computer. Things can get even worse; this blue screen can damage the system startup process, rendering the computer inaccessible again.
We are sharing this news because Microsoft recently admitted that some of the latest Windows 11 updates are causing these errors for a large number of users. The tech giant has stated that it is fully aware of these serious vulnerabilities and takes full responsibility for them.
We are also informing you of this news because the developers of the popular operating system have confirmed the existence of two separate problems affecting many computers running Windows 11. These two problems are in addition to those that have already been detected in recent weeks, specifically since the beginning of 2026. These problems include errors related to shutting down the computer and putting it into hibernation mode, drivers, remote desktop, and much more.
Now, a serious flaw has been acknowledged that causes computers using pre-configured graphics cards to crash. It's worth noting that this isn't limited to Nvidia GPUs. This leads to the infamous Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), which completely freezes the computer and prevents users from continuing to work. Furthermore, some users have already reported that the BSOD, along with the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error, appears when attempting to run certain GPU-intensive titles.
On the other hand, the tech giant confirmed another bug causing Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Fortunately, while acknowledging these serious flaws in the Windows 11 user experience, they also indicated that solutions are available.
How to fix the last two operating system errors
Despite the numerous software bugs introduced by Microsoft in its recent updates, the company strives to find solutions as quickly as possible. This is especially true for the two bugs we just mentioned.
Recognizing this issue, the tech giant now informs us that the latest update available for compatible systems, KB5077181, should resolve all these problems. It's worth noting that these errors also stem from a Microsoft update, specifically KB5074105.
However, it's important to remember that the patch fixing these bugs was released just a few days ago as part of the recent February 2026 updates. This means it will be rolled out gradually to users, so we may have to wait a few days to get rid of these serious bugs that negatively impact the Windows 11 user experience.
